Darwin's Evolution (notes from movies)

In science we learned about Charles Darwin and how he created evolution. Not many people at first believed Darwin's theory. As time progressed people became more excepting of his theory and didn't make fun of him anymore. Also the animals of today came from similar speices of the past. They have to adapt to their enviornment. As Darwin grew up he never did well in school due to the fact that he was just plan bored. After the death of his daughter Darwin had to publish his theory, because soneone else was starting to come up with the same idea of evolution, that he just had came up with. So his daughter was the one who inspired him to publish his theory. I feel that Darwin was an important figure in history, because we wouldn't probably know about evolution if it wasn't for him and we wouldn't understand at all where we come from.
